Tyson Fury serenades crowd with ‘American Pie’ after beating Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury capped off his dominating victory over Deontay Wilder in style.

The new WBC heavyweight champion celebrated in the ring by taking hold of the microphone during a post-fight interview and serenading the Las Vegas crowd with Don McLean’s “American Pie.”

“I said I’d sing a song tonight, didn’t I?” Fury said with a smile.

He proceeded to belt out a rendition of the 1971 classic, knowing every word as his entourage in the ring and the fans sang along.

Fury, 31, handed Wilder, 34, his first career loss Saturday when Wilder’s corner threw in the towel in the seventh round. The two drew in their first bout in 2018. Fury, who at one point during the fight appeared to lick blood off Wilder’s neck, improved to 30-0-1.

“Not bad for an old fat guy who can’t punch, eh?” Fury said.
