The NBA postseason has arrived. 

The Play-In Tournament ended on Friday, with a handful of teams booking a spot in the official playoff bracket. 

Can the Celtics defend their title? Will the retooled Lakers make a run to the Finals? Or, is it Oklahoma City’s time to take over as top dog?

Check out the odds for the NBA playoffs as of April 18. 

EASTERN CONFERENCE

Cavaliers (1) vs. Heat (8)
Season series: CLE 2-1

Series winner: Cavaliers -2500, Heat +1000

Game 1 odds: CLE -12, ML: CLE -750, O/U: 212.5

What to know: The Cavs only had 18 losses during the regular season, but eight of them came in their last 16 games. They have one playoff series win in the last six years. Miami has now made it to six straight postseasons, and has made it to the Finals twice since 2019-20.

Celtics (2) vs. Magic (7)
Season series: ORL 2-1

Series winner: Celtics -5000, Magic +1600

Game 1 odds: BOS -14, ML: BOS -1000, O/U: 205.5

What to know: Boston has made the conference finals each of the last three seasons, while Orlando has not made it past the first round since 2009-10. Furthermore, Orlando has eight playoff wins in the past 14 years.

Knicks (3) vs. Pistons (6)
Season series: DET 3-1

Series winner: Knicks -400, Pistons +310

Game 1 odds: NY -7, ML: NY -285, O/U: 220

What to know: The Knicks have home-court advantage, but the Pistons beat New York twice in Madison Square Garden this season. In Detroit’s final two wins over the Knicks, All-Star guard Cade Cunningham had 36 points in each game. 

Pacers (4) vs. Bucks (5)
Season series: MIL 3-1

Series winner: Pacers -165, Bucks +135

Game 1 odds: IND -5.5, ML: IND -225, O/U: 224

What to know: The two teams faced off last season in the first round, with Indy winning 4-2. The Pacers then made their way to the conference finals, where they lost to Boston. Milwaukee has not made it past the first round in the last two years. 

WESTERN CONFERENCE

Thunder (1) vs. Grizzlies (8)
Season series: OKC 4-0

Series winner: Thunder -1800, Grizzlies +900

Game 1 odds: OKC -12.5, ML: OKC -850, O/U: 226.5

What to know: The Thunder swept the season series in convincing fashion, winning each game by an average of 18.8 points. The Grizzlies never came within 12 points of OKC this season, and SGA averaged 36.3 points per game against Memphis.

Rockets (2) vs. Warriors (7)
Season series: GSW 3-2

Series winner: Warriors -190, Rockets +155

Game 1 odds: HOU -1, ML: HOU -112, O/U: 212.5

What to know: These two teams faced off five times in the regular season, with the Warriors winning three games by six, six and seven, and Houston winning two games by one and 10. The road team also won three out of the five games.

Lakers (3) vs. Wolves (6)
Season series: Tied 2-2

Series winner: Lakers -195, Wolves +160

Game 1 odds: LA -4, ML: LA -185, O/U 216

What to know: The Wolves faced the Luka Doncic-led Lakers only once this season, with L.A. winning 111-102 at home. However, Minnesota was missing both Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle.

Nuggets (4) vs. Clippers (5)
Season series: Tied 2-2

Series winner: Nuggets -110, Clippers -110

Game 1 odds: DEN -2.5, ML: DEN -142, O/U 223.5

What to know: Kawhi Leonard didn’t play a single game against the Nuggets during the regular season. In six March games, Leonard is averaging 26.7 points while shooting 54.3% from the field, 50% from 3 and 85.6% from the line.
