Blue Jays manager calls out umpire in hilarious hot mic moment: ‘How the fâk are you gonna call that?’

Blue Jays manager John Schneider was not happy with a first-inning call on Friday night.
And everyone at home heard him.
During the bottom of the first inning against the Orioles, Andrés Giménez stepped up with runners on the corners with one out.
With the count 2-2, Gimenez took what appeared to be a half-swing on a curveball in the dirt from Charlie Morton.
Despite a protest to home plate umpire Will Little that the ball grazed his foot and that he did not swing, Little called Giménez out on a swing for the second out.
Out came Schneider, and with a hot mic on, the conversation with the umpire was picked up for all who were watching the game on Apple TV+.
“He’s saying the ball hit him,” Little said. “But we’ve got a swing, so we’ve got a dead ball.”
“How the f–k are you gonna call that?” Schneider said in disbelief at the decision.

Things eventually settled down, and there were no ejections after the mild controversy.
Toronto failed to score in the inning, though they did bring five home in the fourth inning to take a 5-2 lead and knock Morton out of his Orioles debut at 3 ⅓ innings.
