Austrian Leader Praises Trump’s ‘Very Active and Also Very Successful Foreign Policy’

BERLIN (AP) – Austria’s chancellor has described parts of U.S. President Donald Trump’s foreign policy as “very successful” as he prepares to visit Washington this week. Chancellor Sebastian Kurz told Sunday’s edition of Austrian newspaper Die Presse that one of the main aims of his visit is to help avert a trade war, which he said “would endanger thousands of jobs in Austria.” On Saturday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said U.S. authorities appear to have concluded that European cars were a national security threat, suggesting that trade tensions might spike…

Delingpole: Why Is Britain’s Richest Man – Sir Jim Ratcliffe – Moving to Monaco? Ask Ayn Rand…

Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe (worth £21 billion) is leaving the United Kingdom and the European Union for tax exile in Monaco, depriving the Treasury of up to £4 billion in tax. This is more tax than the entire bottom 40 percent of the British population pay: that’s because none of them pays any tax at all. To understand why Ratcliffe is leaving, you need only glance at the reaction on social media. Some people hate him because he’s a Brexiteer: Dyson Club – the new Bullingdon Club of…

EXCLUSIVE – Hungary Backs Trump’s Wall: ‘Border Protection An Obligation of the State’

Hungarian foreign minister Péter Szijjártó has explained how Hungary slashed illegal immigration by building strong border barriers and praised U.S. President Donald Trump in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. Hungary, a conservative-led Central European country with a population of around ten million, found itself overwhelmed in late 2015 when Germany’s Angela Merkel took it upon herself to invite millions of migrants to the European Union unilaterally. Hundreds of thousands surged across Hungary’s southern frontier — one of the EU’s external borders — trampling farmers’ crops and stealing food from vegetable…

Delingpole: Alarmists Cook up Warming Scare as Planet Cools

The planet is cooling. Clearly this isn’t something the alarmists want you to hear, especially when they’ve got a shiny, expensive, new bridge to sell you with Green New Deal stamped on the side. So to help out, the Climate Industrial Complex has played its usual trick of ramping up the climate scaremongering. Here’s NASA (your tax dollar at work, funding greenie propaganda): Global temperatures in 2018 were 1.5 degrees Fahrenheit (0.83 degrees Celsius) warmer than the 1951 to 1980 mean, according to scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space…

Pope Francis Praises Sweden’s Moratorium on Immigration

Countries that are unable to assimilate migrants should stop accepting more until they are able to integrate them, Pope Francis told reporters on the papal plane Monday. The pope put forward Sweden as an example of a country that had accepted many migrants in the past but realized recently that the migrants coming in were becoming ghettoized rather than integrating in Swedish society, and so put a moratorium on accepting more. “A ruler must use prudence, because prudence is the virtue of those who govern,” Francis told reporters during a…

Survey: One in 20 UK Adults Do Not Believe Holocaust Happened

One in 20 UK adults do not believe the Holocaust took place, a survey reveals, while one in 12 believes the scale has been exaggerated. Almost two-thirds of respondents (64 percent) either could not say how many Jews were murdered or “grossly” under-estimated the number, a survey of more than 2,000 people by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) found. Five percent fell into the “Holocaust denial” category, while eight percent said it had been exaggerated, the survey reveals. At least six million Jews died. “Such widespread ignorance and even denial is shocking,”…

Auschwitz Survivors Pay Homage as World Remembers Holocaust

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Former prisoners of Auschwitz have placed flowers at an execution wall at the former Nazi German death camp on the 74th anniversary of the camp’s liberation and what is now International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The survivors wore striped scarves that recalled their uniforms, some with the red letter “P,” the symbol the Germans used to mark them as Poles. Early in World War II, most prisoners were Poles, rounded up by the occupying German forces. Later, Auschwitz was transformed into a mass killing site for Jews,…
