AG Barr Skipping House Judiciary Hearing, Nadler Threatens Contempt Citation

Attorney General William Barr is skipping testifying on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report in front of the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday over a fight with House Democrats over what the hearing format should be. Democrats want committee members to have one round of questioning of Barr, and then to turn it over to the staffs’ counsels to continue questioning him. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) shut down Sen.
