Mean Girl AOC Tells New Mother Riley Gaines to “Get a Real Job”

Childless Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went ‘mean girl’ on conservative women’s rights activist and former champion collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines in an online spat, telling the new mother to “get a real job.”
Since retiring from competitive swimming, Gaines has become a leader in the movement to ban mentally ill men and boys who think they are women from women’s and girl’s sports and locker rooms. Gaines hosts a weekly podcast, Gaines for Girls.
The spat started when Ocasio-Cortez responded to a post by Gaines about a photo from the Sunday night rally in Forest Hills, Queens by New York City Democrat mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani that showed the communist trio of Mamdani, Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) triumphantly acknowledging the packed house of 13,000 supporters.
Raines commented, “We’re being destroyed from within.”

Raines added, “Remember when @elonmusk did this same wave and elected Democrats/MSM called him Hitler for weeks?”
Ocasio-Cortez first went mean girl on Gaines about her swimming, posting a snide comment about the 2022 NCAA women’s 200 yd. freestyle swimming championship race Gaines tied for fifth place with trans swimmer William “Lia” Thomas, “Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster you wouldn’t have come in fifth.”

Gaines responded, “It’s always hilarious when they think they’ve landed a “gotcha” by pointing out I was the 5th-fastest woman *in the nation* yet they conveniently forget the mediocre man who ranked 462nd in the men’s division lol. Misogynistic dunce”

Gaines also replied, “It’s *always* “we support women’s rights!” until it’s a woman who wants the right to compete & undress free from less than mediocre men. Keep your mentally ill men out of our sports, locker rooms, prisons, etc.”
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) reminded Ocasio-Cortez of Gaines’ achievements as a college swimmer for the University of Kentucky, “What happened to “support all women” @AOC? @Riley_Gaines_ is a 5x SEC Champion and 12x NCAA All-American. Not to mention she’s a patriot who has fought every day for women and girls. Meanwhile, AOC thinks “women’s rights” just means abortion.”

Monday night on the Fox News show the Ingraham Angle, Gaines challenged Ocasio-Cortez to a debate, “I want to honestly challenge AOC to a debate. She can defend socialism — I will defend capitalism. She can defend removing God — I will defend embracing a biblical worldview. She can defend child sacrifice — I will defend the sanctity of life. Any of the radical insane Democratic policies and platform that they stand for, I will debate the opposite. I’m challenging AOC to it here.”

Within minutes, Ocasio-Cortez again went mean girl on Gaines, who gave birth to a daughter, Margot, on September 29, posting, “And I would like to challenge this person to get a real job.”

The 25-year-old Gaines responded with a gut punch to the childless 36-year-old Ocasio-Cortez, “I have a real job. I’m a mom. It’s the most important & rewarding job in the world. I think if you had a baby girl like I do, you’d understand my positions a little better.”

Gaines also replied, “This is comical given it’s coming from someone whose own party shut down the government and left you technically…jobless. And I guess I’ll take that as a no (which is to be expected when your positions are indefensible on virtually every issue)”
Ocasio-Cortez has not responded further to Gaines.
